My ass is WHIPPED! That drive is about 5 1/2 hours and it was just brutal.
The show was great....Simon got tackled by a girl onstage and and I think he liked it. He just kept saying "she grabbed my ass!" and giggling. He forgot some lyrics right out of the gate, in true Simon fashion. He was an absolute KOOK lastnight and had everyone in stitches....especially Derek. He said he laughed so much his face hurt. The venue was nice.....open air and lots of trees and foliage around.
I have some pics on my cell phone from the show, but I dropped my phone (mid-show) and now I can't seem to send the pics to my PC through the phone itself. It may take a few days before I can get them from the phone and to the PC.
All in all, we had a great time......I got a tour book, a t-shirt, and a keyring. Cost me $100 even...... Highway robbery, I tell ya.
Anyway, it's so good to be home. I am off to take a much needed nap.
