I got presale Thursday night, section 107, row N. I was going to get the 125.00 seat, but I got actually a closer seat, but not JT's side (boo hoo) for 85.00. Damn, I should have gotten presale on Wednesday!!!!! Oh well, I am going and that is what matters, right!!!! If they come to St. Louis, I will just have be extra nice to the hubby!!!!!

Okay Renee, go for it! This is a theater, so see if you can so some research. Look at the layout from Ticketmaster, then try to find a picture of the inside of the theater and get an idea if row 22 is really that bad. You might actually want to go to the balcony if you can get in the first few rows!

Ok, last opinion requested. I have the Citi card in my hot little hands, ready to purchase. So........do you think since I am buying just one ticket, in the 125.00 range, pre-sale, do I have a chance of getting a really good seat?

I have been trying to rationalize me spending that, which of course will be more after P & H, plus, of course, the t-shirt I will be buying.

Here are my reasons to go:

You really can't compare US prices with the Euro right now. Our currency is taking a hit. In 2005, the dollar and Euro were very close in value. Now, a dollar is worth less. 50 Euro is more like $75 right now.

So, the tickets are more expensive by about $20, but you will probably save that if you buy merch at a show rather than order online. I saved almost $15 on my RCM shirt by buying it at a show. It's hard to judge what prices might be in Euros or Pounds when they jump...

The prices being banded about for this tour are amazing! Are they a vast increase on the 2006 USA shows?
I only paid 50 Euros (not sure what that is in US$) for the last Athens show -was that because it was all GA? It will be interesting to see what the European prices are this time around!

I got to thinking about it, and I'm praying Roseland is cool with cameras because I've heard Hard Rock is NOT. Also, I find most people won't VIP for GA shows. Chicago is on a Wednesday as well and the VIP was still selling last I check. Well, fewer tickets means a better chance of M&G for me and Jenni (as IF).

Pre4Pepsi, are you going to any of the shows? When I first saw the email about the concert, I was totally like, "I am going!!!!" If I could have just bought the ticket right then, I would have. But now that I have slept on it, I am not sure. It doesn't bother me to go to the concert alone, because I did that before in 2006 in Chicago. But the price is soooooooooo high, I think. I need to decide today what I am doing.

I got jacked on two GA tickets for that show. Some stupid error message when I had two tickets in MY cart, twice it happened. Then the presale was sold out. I'm not even going to bother sending an email about the error problems as I know the presale GA tickets are sold out and...

Oh no, Renee, I'm sorry to hear about that. I'm hoping they'll get more local on the next leg. My spousal unit isn't thrilled about the number of times I've seen them either. I was at the St. Louis & KC shows back in '05. I think we met, actually.

I haven't gotten my ticket yet. I just wanted to see who else is going to the Chicago show and I could possibly meet up w/ya! I have the Citicard to do the presale, but wanted to hear from anyone else going to Chicago.

Also, anyone think they will open up more dates? I live by St. Louis and the last time they were here was in July 2005. If I go to Chicago, and they end up coming to St. Louis - I am pretty sure my husband will leave me. Actually, we just had a horrible...

I figured we needed to dirty up our own meet-up thread for the imminent US tour. Chicago has been suggested as a sort of central meeting point (by me), because it's... um.. central (like I just said), and all tours somehow always schedule a Chicago date.

Alma just offered that she's got lots of family there, so it looks like she's in!

Thoughts? Suggestions? Ideas?
